Staying Alive is an international initiative by american television channel MTV that aims to educate communities about the risks of HIV and to fight the stigma and discrimination surrounding it. Founded in 2005, the Staying Alive Foundation financially supports innovative AIDS prevention projects of youth-led organizations around the world.
For its eighth edition on Friday, March 29, MTV RE:DEFINE chose the British artist Marc Quinn as artist honoree. The event raised more than $ XX for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, which aims to educate communities about the risks of HIV.
