Julian Schnabel is a neo-expressionist painter and American filmmaker born in 1951 in New York. He began his career as a director with "Basquiat", a biographical film about African-American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. His paintings are exhibited in major American museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of Modern Art in New York, but also internationally, including Madrid, London and Paris.
On Thursday, March 14, the Lebanese organization Happy Childhood Foundation, which helps the poorest children, organized the third edition of its contemporary art charity auction.
